Sandwich Making for Bread & Beyond

There is an initiative spear-headed by Bread & Beyond in NDG to make sandwiches to be distributed to the homeless in Montreal. After a successful first time, the Outreach committee will have their next sandwich making morning on Wednesday, November 19 at 9:00am-12:00pm. Summerlea will deliver the sandwiches to Ricochet Shelter to be distributed to the homeless in the West Island.  We are hoping to have a goal of making sandwiches once a month.  Anyone interested in getting involved should leave their name with Colleen at the church office.

Sandwich Making for Bread & Beyond 

There is an initiative spear-headed by Bread & Beyond in NDG to make sandwiches to be distributed to the homeless in Montreal. There are some smaller operations doing this same work, as at Cedar Park United. Several members from Summerlea have been to both organizations to see how they function.  Outreach would like to start this initiative on Wednesday, October 22nd at 9:45am at Summerlea to make sandwiches to be distributed to the homeless in the West Island.  We are hoping to have a goal of making sandwiches once a month.  Anyone interested in getting involved should leave their name with Colleen at the church office.
